C Team Playoff Game Results
The Vianney C Team faced Francis Howell Central in a first round, single elimination game this past Sun. Feb. 21, 2010 @ 8:00 pm at Rec Plex North. Despite a tremendous effort by the entire team the Griffins dropped the game 3-5. Congratulations to the Vianney C Team players as their development will help build the Vianney teams of the future. 
Good luck to the Francis Howell Central players and coaches as they advance in the C Team Playoffs.


C TEAM DROPS A GAME TO FRANCIS HOWELL CENTRAL
The C Team lost a close game 1-2 this past Sat. Jan. 30, 2010 against Francis Howell Central. Vianney ran into penalty problems taking 11 minor penalties and two game misconducts. On a more positive note, the Vianney penalty kill was phenomenal. The players and coaches have worked on penalty killing specifically the past few weeks and it really showed. The lessons learned in practice are helping in games. Both goalies, Dylan Feeney and Luke Opilka, played very well. Ben Wingbermuehle scored the lone Vianney goal unassisted on a wrist shot - top shelf, very pretty. Matt Cammarata and Will Hargiss played excellent complete games. Just one more regular season game remains for the "Young Griffs" on Sat. Feb. 13, 2010 vs. Marquette at All American Ice Arena, game time 4:00 pm.
